Hints of a New Wolfenstein Game from MachineGames

MachineGames teases a potential new installment in the Wolfenstein series as it celebrates its 15th anniversary.

It marks the 15th anniversary of MachineGames, the Swedish studio celebrated for its action-adventure titles, including the recent Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. To commemorate this milestone, the studio released a free New Game+ update for their latest game. However, the attention has now shifted to a hint regarding the future of the studio.

“Thank you for 15 incredible years.”
Translation: “Thank you for 15 amazing years.”

This simple statement generated excitement, especially considering the accompanying image that seemed to suggest further adventures in the Wolfenstein universe.

Previously, Gustafsson had pointed out that Wolfenstein was conceived as a trilogy. With Wolfenstein’s story arc still open ended, fans remain hopeful that the awaited sequel is on the horizon. Although there’s buzz for more Indiana Jones content as well, the prevailing desire among the community is for additional Wolfenstein tales. As Gustafsson wisely noted, “we’re not done with Wolfenstein yet. We have a story to tell.”
