Battlefield 6 to Compensate Players After EA App Glitch

Players of Battlefield 6 who faced issues due to EA App outages will receive compensation from EA.

In the latest release of Battlefield 6, many players encountered significant access issues due to outages with the EA App. To address these frustrations, EA has announced that players affected by the outages will be compensated.

Players experienced long wait times and even inaccessibility, with some being told they didn’t own the game. EA has patched these problems, allowing players to log in successfully.

Further steps taken by EA include granting impacted players 12 Hardware Boosters and 12 Career Boosters, which will be delivered to their in-game inbox during the weekend. Additionally, players will have full access to a seasonal Battle Pass for free, particularly benefiting those who purchased the Phantom Edition of Battlefield 6.

Although many players voiced frustration over the initial glitches, the majority have expressed gratitude for EA’s swift response to the issues. As Battlefield 6 aims to reach an ambitious goal of 100 million players, the company appears committed to ensuring player satisfaction amidst early launch challenges.
