Blizzard Offers Free Access to Explore Player Housing in World of Warcraft Next Week

Players can try out the new player housing feature in World of Warcraft without needing to purchase the upcoming expansion.

Blizzard is set to unlock the player housing feature in World of Warcraft from October 13 to 16 for everyone, regardless of whether they have preordered the Midnight expansion or not. This feature will be accessible during the Player Test Realm (PTR) period, allowing players to explore and build their own houses using the new housing tools.

During this testing, players will have the opportunity to create their dream homes, although anything constructed will not carry over once player housing officially launches in December.

The tools available are quite versatile, enabling players to place various objects, change their sizes, and even reskin walls and floors with ease. The player housing feature is designed to be a substantial addition to the game, with a focus on accessibility and creativity.

To participate in the PTR, players need to log into their Battle.net accounts, and even lapsed accounts can access it free of charge. New players must create a PTR account as outlined on Blizzard’s support page.

Furthermore, Blizzard’s commitment to ensuring an engaging player housing system indicates their intention to cater to both casual and dedicated players, making it an anticipated feature of the upcoming expansion.
