Today’s launch of Battlefield 6 has quickly made history on Steam; however, users on the EA App are struggling. Many players who bought the game through EA’s official storefront reported being locked out due to an odd bug.
EA is actively addressing this problem, yet Vince Zampella, the head of Battlefield, has voiced his discontent. In a recent interaction on X (formerly Twitter), Zampella offered an unexpected piece of advice that many gamers might resonate with:
“Can you refund and buy on Steam?”
Indeed, players can opt for this route, which is a rather surprising suggestion coming from a figure within EA.
Zampella earlier expressed his frustrations with the EA App, asking fans for suggestions on escalating the matter further. It’s worth noting that he stated:
“I have yelled about EA App people. Any suggestions on next levels of escalation?”
Clearly, he acknowledges the widespread dissatisfaction with the EA App, highlighting its poor performance and the cumbersome experience it provides. Despite the issues, Zampella confirmed:
“I am playing on Steam.”
This statement underscores the simplicity of opting for the Steam version instead of enduring the frustrations of the EA App.
