Intel Unveils Upcoming Panther Lake CPU Range Featuring Enhanced Graphics

The latest Intel Panther Lake CPU range set to deliver impressive performance enhancements with its new graphics architecture.

Our initial insights into Intel’s 18A silicon mark an exciting prelude to the upcoming Panther Lake CPU lineup.

A recent leak has divulged details about what seems to be the complete next-gen Intel Panther Lake mobile CPU range. Notably, a premium tier of Intel Core Ultra X 300 chips is introduced, positioned above the standard Core Ultra 300 series. It is exclusively these “X” branded chips that will highlight Panther Lake’s most robust Xe3 integrated graphics.

The incoming models reportedly feature a configuration of four Performance cores complemented by eight Efficient cores within the CPU chiplet. An additional four Efficient cores will operate from the low-power area of the SoC die, culminating in a total of 16 CPU cores.

According to this leak, the top-end variant will be the Intel Core Ultra 9 X388H. The new Xe3-spec integrated GPU, dubbed Celestial, will boast 12 graphics cores, marking a substantial upgrade from the eight graphics cores of Intel’s current leading-edge integrated graphics in its Lunar Lake laptop chips.

This adjustment represents a 50% supersession in iGPU cores, and Celestial is projected to outperform Battlemage on a per-core basis, suggesting a significant performance enhancement overall.

Panther Lake is anticipated to be a top contender among laptops and handheld devices upon its mass production later this year, with availability potentially stretching into early 2026.
