Pokemon TCG Pocket Provides Key Details on Pack Points
The popular mobile game reveals crucial information about Pack Points, ensuring players can retain them despite deck changes.
The Pokemon TCG Pocket has announced significant updates concerning the game’s Pack Points. This reassures players that their previously accumulated Pack Points will not be lost as new expansions are introduced. The mobile version of this beloved trading card game has been incredibly popular since its launch nearly a year ago, attracting millions of users and releasing exciting expansions regularly.
Pack Points are a ‘safety net’ for users who might not get certain cards from expansions. Players earn 5 Pack Points each time they open a new pack and can use these points to redeem cards, provided they have sufficient Pack Points for the desired card from that set.
Recently, a notification was shared across the game’s social media handles, emphasizing that Pack Points earned from any set won’t expire after a pack is removed from the in-game store. Players can continue to redeem their Pack Points for cards from specific sets even once they are no longer available. The Pokemon Company has also acknowledged a mistake in the in-game tooltips regarding Pack Points, confirming that a correction is in the pipeline.
With the latest expansion, Deluxe Pack ex, the game kicked off celebrations for its 1st anniversary scheduled for October 30, which promises various activities including a ‘Parallel Foil’ event. This year has a lot in store for Pokemon TCG Pocket fans.
