Four Games Set to Depart Xbox Game Pass on October 15

Xbox Game Pass will soon bid farewell to four popular titles, with their removal scheduled for October 15.

Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Beware!

Xbox Game Pass is about to lose access to four titles as of October 15. Although subscription services like Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus provide access to a vast library of games for a monthly price, they frequently rotate their offerings, which can disappoint gamers who haven’t had a chance to experience certain titles.

With the escalating cost of game development, maintaining AAA titles such as the latest Call of Duty or the eagerly awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 can be exceedingly costly. That’s where services like Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus come in handy, offering a diverse selection of games in a rotating catalog for a monthly fee. However, a significant price increase has recently been announced for Xbox Game Pass, raising the premium tier by $10 to $29.99 per month.

The abrupt price hike has sparked disappointment amongst subscribers, leading some to cancel their subscriptions. For those who choose to remain, the sad news continues as four games—Cocoon, Core Keeper, Donut County, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed—will be leaving the service soon. Good news: these titles remain 20% off until their departure, so fans can purchase them before they’re removed.

Games Leaving October 15:

  • Cocoon
  • Core Keeper
  • Donut County
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed

The loss of these titles may be disheartening, but numerous new releases are slated to hit Xbox Game Pass throughout October, including Sopa – Tale of the Stolen Potato and Little Rocket Lab on October 7, followed by other exciting titles throughout the month.

For those who do not subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, Ninja Gaiden 4 will also be available on PlayStation 5 and PC, along with day-one releases, giving gamers more options ahead.
