The latest DLC for Hearts of Iron IV, titled Graveyard of Empires, is set to release on March 4 for $15 (£12.79). This expansion presents content centered around Iran, India, Iraq, and Afghanistan, offering new gameplay dynamics and historic scenarios, such as characters’ struggles against British colonial influence.

Iran will be caught between the Soviet Union and Britain, featuring a deep focus tree allowing players to resist imperialist incursions or even revive the Achaemenid Empire. India will explore its independence movement, with alternate histories focused on liberating the subcontinent from British rule. Iraq, as a British client state, will face challenges regarding national identity amidst pan-Arab nationalism. Afghanistan lands in a zone of neutrality, offering unique paths during the WWII era.
