Can’t decide on a character? You can simply switch mid-combo.
Morbid Metal Overview
Morbid Metal promises an over-the-top experience unlike many character action games. Players take on the role of not just one, but three cyber ninjas (elevating it to a characters action game). When PC Gamer contributor Elie Gould had a chance to preview it at Gamescom, they found their expectations exceeded within just five minutes.
Morbid Metal is a roguelike spectacle fighter developed by Screen Juice and backed by Ubisoft, allowing players to cut their way through procedurally generated levels while crafting unique combos and applying upgrades on the fly. The game has a notable style meter that follows in the footsteps of titles like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta.
This innovative setup lets you launch an enemy into the air with one character, switch to another mid-air, and bring them crashing back down. Originally aimed for early access earlier this year, the release was pushed back, but a demo is currently available on Steam.
