New Final Fantasy Cards Coming to Magic the Gathering

Magic the Gathering announces a new range of Final Fantasy-themed cards for the upcoming holiday season.

Magic the Gathering has officially unveiled a collection of new Final Fantasy-themed product sets to be released during the holiday season, featuring entirely new cards. This expansion follows the wildly successful crossover sets introduced earlier this year, which included collaborations with franchises like Spider-Man.

The Final Fantasy card set has proven to be one of the most successful line-ups in the history of Magic the Gathering, impacting the game play style with potent new cards, such as “Vivi Ornitier” and the highly sought-after “Traveling Chocobo.”

Recently, Wizards of the Coast announced an addition of four new “Scene Boxes” featuring Final Fantasy installments 1, 8, 9, and 15. These will not only contain new artworks of prior Final Fantasy cards but also new cards inspired by those classic games, alongside three Final Fantasy booster packs.

The Scene Boxes are set to debut this holiday season, further enhancing the popularity of Magic the Gathering’s Final Fantasy collection.
