Lenovo Legion Go 2 Pre-Orders Surge Beyond Expectations, Causing Major Delays

Despite its hefty price, the pre-orders for Lenovo's handheld gaming console have far surpassed initial estimates, leading to cancellations and extended shipping delays.

Orders for the Lenovo Legion Go 2 have sky-rocketed, causing significant delays and cancellations for many customers. Some shipments have been postponed by up to two months.

Lenovo has acknowledged the overwhelming demand and has been communicating with potential buyers via social media platforms. A recent AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit was intended to clarify the situation, but many users expressed frustration over the lack of direct answers regarding shipping delays.

“We’re the Lenovo Legion team - Ask Us Anything about the Legion Go Gen 2!” said the team in the discussion. However, they apologized for the lack of responses to inquiries about shipping issues, acknowledging their oversight in not involving the right representatives to address these concerns initially.

In their defense, they remarked, “We don’t believe in holding onto customer payments for products we can’t ship in a timely manner.” Yet, many customers have reported drastic shifts in their expected delivery windows, causing dissatisfaction.

The Lenovo Legion Go 2 boasts impressive specs, featuring a Ryzen Z2 processor and an 8.8-inch OLED screen, but with a price tag starting from $1,100 and going up to $1,350, it’s a substantial investment.
