Yakuza Kiwami 3

At the latest Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Summit, it was revealed that a full remake of Yakuza 3 is set to launch on February 12, 2026. This announcement came after the studio inadvertently hinted at the title by including ‘Kiwami 3’ on its own website.

In addition to the remake, a bonus game titled Yakuza 3 Gaiden: Dark Ties will also be available, allowing players to step into the shoes of the primary antagonist, Yoshitaka Mine. As RGG’s motto suggests, they go big or go home.

Kiwami 3 will be developed in the Yakuza 6 Dragon Engine, following in the footsteps of the previous remakes and will once again follow the journey of Kazuma Kiryu as he strives to protect his orphanage from malevolent forces.

The remake will feature an English voiceover alongside the Japanese audio. A trailer recently showcased a preview of the English dub, although the original language is favored by many fans.
