FromSoftware has recently launched Patch 1.02.3 for Elden Ring Nightreign. This new update brings various bug fixes and balance alterations to the popular cooperative game, particularly affecting the recently introduced Deep of Night mode.
Launched in May 2025, Elden Ring Nightreign has achieved over 5 million sales and received mostly favorable reviews. Critics appreciated its engaging combat and captivating gameplay loop, although some critiques were directed at its solo difficulty and content variety.
The latest patch features adjustments to attack power and stagger damage for numerous abilities and the effects of certain relics and enemies. Notably, the update also introduces a new feature that allows players to decrease their Deep of Night Depth level by one, making the game more accessible. Players reaching Depth levels 3, 4, and 5 will now have protections against rank loss upon defeat.
Several bugs have also been addressed, with approximately half relating to the game generally and the other half concerning the Deep of Night mode.
