Palworld Surprises Fans with Ultrakill Collaboration

Palworld announces a new crossover with Ultrakill, integrating weapons and gear from the popular shooter in a future update.

On September 22, Palworld captured the attention of its audience by revealing an unexpected collaboration with the first-person shooter Ultrakill. While a specific launch date for the gun-themed crossover has yet to be disclosed, Pocketpair confirmed that items inspired by Ultrakill will appear in Palworld in a forthcoming content update.

Palworld Collaboration

Originally launched in September 2020, Ultrakill, developed by Finnish creator Arsi “Hakita” Patala, takes cues from the Doom series, placing players in control of a relentless robot named V1. With influences drawn from Quake and Devil May Cry, the game invites players to battle various enemies in a campaign loosely inspired by Dante’s Inferno. After a major update in February 2025, it currently enjoys an overall rating of 96% on Steam for being Overwhelmingly Positive.

Palworld Collaborates with Ultrakill

After announcing Palworld: Palfarm as a separate development venture, Pocketpair is pleased to unveil this new crossover following the successful partnership with Terraria. Details about the crossover’s availability are still pending, but the collaboration showcases a banner featuring Palworld’s Anubis character alongside Ultrakill’s V1 on social media. It has been stated that some Ultrakill weapons will feature in Palworld, but specifics regarding which weapons will be part of the experience remain under wraps. This partnership marks Palworld’s second crossover with a major gaming title, following the update with Terraria released in June 2025, which included bosses like the Eye of Cthulhu.

While this reveal comes amidst ongoing legal issues for Palworld involving Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, Pocketpair has confirmed plans for Palworld to transition out of early access and seek a full release in 2026. The timeline suggests that the game will have been in early access for over two years before reaching its official launch. Furthermore, updates for Palworld are expected to decrease as the development team focuses on the full version of the game.
