FromSoftware Introduces Quality of Life Patch for Deep of Night in Nightreign
A new patch for Elden Ring's Deep of Night mode promises to enhance player experience by addressing glitches and providing new options.
A new patch for Elden Ring’s Deep of Night mode is set to enhance the gameplay experience, as announced by Bandai Namco on Friday. This update will address a bug affecting Depth level progression and introduce much-needed quality of life improvements.
Key Features of the Patch:
- Depth Level Adjustment: Players can choose to voluntarily lower their Depth level and gain protection from demotion starting at level three.
- Promotion and Demotion: Points toward promotion are earned by winning, while failing can result in losing points, similar to ranks in competitive games.
- Improved Connectivity: This patch will also enable Steam players to return to an ongoing session if disconnected due to server issues.
These adjustments aim to offer players more control and ensure a better experience in the challenging environment of the Deep of Night. While they may not significantly reduce the mode’s inherent difficulty, they will help balance the experience.
Players who want to retry lower levels after a setback will find this new feature particularly beneficial. Bandai Namco has yet to announce a release date for this public patch, so players will need to remain vigilant for ongoing issues.
