The French team, 3DMAX, has made a significant roster adjustment by releasing Thomas “Djoko” Pavoni, concluding his nearly 16-month period with the squad.
This decision comes as 3DMAX aims to ensure they remain competitive and focused on progress toward their goals. The statement released by the organization emphasized the difficulty in making this change but highlighted it as crucial for maintaining a successful team dynamic.
Djoko’s departure ends a nearly four-year collaboration with teammates Lucas “Lucky” Chastang and Pierre “Ex3rcice” Bulinge, with whom he solidified a core group during their time with DBL PONEY, HEET, and most recently, 3DMAX.
The 27-year-old contributed to the team by competing in four RMR events, participating in the Perfect World Shanghai Major, and securing victory at the Skyesports Championship 2024. After their latest Major appearance, the team reached a peak ranking of 15th in the HLTV world rankings.
Despite mixed results earlier in 2025, including an early exit at BLAST Bounty, 3DMAX showed resilience by advancing to the group stage of IEM Katowice, where they celebrated victories over teams such as MIBR and FlyQuest before facing major challenges against Vitality and Eternal Fire.
