Jensen Huang Reveals Intel and Nvidia's Year-Long Partnership Talks
Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, reveals that the company has been quietly collaborating with Intel on advanced technology solutions for nearly a year.
In a surprising turn of events, Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang opened up during a press conference about the tech giant’s collaboration with Intel. He disclosed that the teams have been secretly working together for nearly a year to create innovative solutions while avoiding public speculation.
“The two technology teams have been discussing and architecting solutions now for probably coming up to a year, and the two architecture teams—well, it’s three architecture teams—are working across, of course, the CPU architecture, as well as product lines for server and PCs.”

Details about this partnership have largely remained undisclosed. Huang pointed out that only communications occurred among élite executives, including Intel’s CEO, Lip-Bu Tan:
“There were no communications with anybody else except between Lip-Bu, myself, and the technical teams that were working on this partnership, and we kept it really quiet.”

This partnership involves a substantial $5 billion investment by Nvidia, emphasizing a joint effort towards AI, although a mix of gaming innovations is anticipated as well. The future may hold integrated systems with Intel processors paired with Nvidia GPUs for both data centers and consumer products, potentially signaling a shift in the competitive landscape of the hardware industry.
