Special Distribution Event for Shiny Chi-Yu in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Players of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can acquire a shiny Chi-Yu until September 30, contributing to unique gameplay experience.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can now obtain a shiny Chi-Yu for free until September 30. Distribution events allow players to access rare Pokémon that aren’t available through standard gameplay, utilizing methods such as codes, passwords, and special events.

Shiny Chi-Yu

Chi-Yu is featured in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendary quartet, resembling a fish adorned with jade beads and dark orbs for eyes. Notably, Chi-Yu, a Dark/Fire-type Pokémon, has an impressive ability to endure temperatures exceeding 3,000 C°. More intriguingly, its authentic form consists of the jade beads that make up its eyes, which resulted from envy and strife over them. Trainers can get a unique variant of Chi-Yu during this limited distribution.

How to Claim a Shiny Chi-Yu in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

  1. Launch Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
  2. Select Poke Portal from the X menu.
  3. Choose Mystery Gift and then select Get via Internet to connect.
  4. Select the desired gift.
  5. Watch as the gift arrives in your game.
  6. Save your progress.

The shiny Chi-Yu distribution event commenced on September 30 at 4:59 PM PDT. This Legendary Pokémon comes in a Cherish Ball with a Classic Ribbon, lacking a held item and is at level 75. It possesses the Beads of Ruin ability, a modest nature, and the Fire Tera type. Its moveset includes Heat Wave, Dark Pulse, Snarl, and Flamethrower.

Chi-Yu Pokedex Entry

To claim the shiny Chi-Yu, Pokémon players need to follow the previously mentioned steps. Alongside this distribution, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet celebrates over one million shiny Chi-Yu raids with the distribution of 100 Fire Tera Shards, 100 Electric Tera Shards, 100 Psychic Tera Shards, and 100 Fighting Tera Shards, rewarding players for participating in two million Chi-Yu raids.

For additional details, players can also claim shiny Chien-Pao, shiny Ting-Lu, and shiny Wo-Chien, along with their respective Tera Shards before the event concludes on September 30.
