Intel Confirms Arc GPUs Will Persist Despite New Nvidia Partnership

Intel assures that its Arc GPUs will remain a part of its offerings, addressing concerns following the announcement of a collaboration with Nvidia.

Intel has confirmed that its Arc GPUs will not be phased out despite the recent collaboration with Nvidia. This announcement aims to quell market concerns regarding the future of Intel’s GPU offerings. An Intel representative stated, “The collaboration is complementary to Intel’s roadmap and Intel will continue to have GPU product offerings.” This reassurance comes as Intel prepares to launch its next generation of processors, including Panther Lake and Nova Lake, which will utilize the Arc Xe3 iGPUs. The first of these, Panther Lake, targets mobile usage and is expected to launch soon, while Nova Lake will cater to both desktop and mobile systems and is slated for a later release.
