Yakuza Fans Eager as RGG Studio Accidentally Hints at 'Kiwami 3'

Yakuza enthusiasts are speculating about a possible announcement for 'Kiwami 3' following a slip on the RGG studio website.

The Yakuza fan base has gone wild with speculation following a recent slip from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, which accidentally posted the term ‘Kiwami 3’ on its website. While the studio has since removed the reference, avid fans are now buzzing with the possibility of an announcement at the upcoming RGG Summit event.

The phrase ‘龍が如く 極3’, which translates to Yakuza Kiwami 3, briefly appeared on the news page of RGG’s official site, igniting discussions online.

Enthusiasts on Reddit have pointed out that the timing of this slip coincides with the summit next week, leading many to speculate that an official reveal may soon follow. As one Redditor put it, “The summit is next week so they will announce [it] there.”

While excitement brews, some caution that, given RGG’s commitments to projects like Virtua Fighter 6 and Stranger than Heaven, it might take a while for the game to see a release.

Despite the uncertainty, the prospect of Kiwami 3 has fans eager to dive back into the Yakuza series, particularly after their enjoyment of the previous remakes, Kiwami 1 and Kiwami 2.
