On October 4, 2022, Overwatch 2 replaced its predecessor as Blizzard’s hero shooter. Over the past three years, it has introduced 18 seasons rich with collaboration events, limited-time game modes, and significant updates. Anniversary Event Details
Blizzard commemorates the third year of Overwatch 2 by revisiting fan-favorite features. From now until October 12, different popular game modes will return weekly, such as Prop Hunt, Mirrorwatch, April Fools 2025, and Junkenstein’s Laboratory. Alongside this, various Overwatch Classic rulesets will be available throughout the month.

Throughout the celebration, players can earn various rewards, including three Epic and Legendary Loot Boxes and the new Vampire Regent Lifeweaver Legendary skin. Players have the chance to earn Mythic Prisms freely, a currency that is typically acquired with the Premium Battle Pass or direct purchases.
Additionally, this event coincides with the mid-Season 18 update and features an exciting collaboration with Persona 5. Players may explore balance adjustments, utilize Tracer in the Stadium game mode, complete collaboration challenges for themed rewards, or acquire Phantom Thief skins for various characters via the in-game store.
To top it all off, Overwatch 2 has initiated a new Twitch Drop campaign to celebrate Season 18. Players can earn special Wuyang cosmetics and Loot Boxes by watching Overwatch 2 on Twitch during the promotional period. These rewards will be available until October 8.
