Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 publisher Activision has confirmed that players who join the upcoming open beta will receive exclusive in-game rewards. Those who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 by October 2 will gain early access to the beta, giving them time to level up and earn valuable rewards. For players who haven’t made a decision yet, the beta will open to all on October 5 without the need for pre-purchase.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
There has been significant backlash against Black Ops 7 from the Call of Duty community. Although the gameplay has received minimal criticism, fans are expressing frustration over unrealistic cosmetic items and high-priced store bundles. In reaction to this feedback, Treyarch Studios is implementing various adjustments ahead of the game’s launch, including changes to the Vault Edition skins, the elimination of Carry Forward, and more.
Open Beta Rewards for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Players
The early access beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to kick off on October 2 for those who pre-order and will be followed by an open beta on October 5 for everyone else. Activision confirmed via email (via Detonated) that players participating in the open beta will have the chance to earn exclusive in-game rewards, such as an Operator, Weapon Charm, an animated Emblem, and more. Unfortunately, Activision has not yet revealed specific details on what these rewards will entail.
Activision is also collaborating once again with Monster Energy for another promotional campaign in conjunction with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Fans can buy Monster Energy cans, enter the code found on the pull-tab on the Monster Energy website, and receive in-game rewards for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The more codes players gather, the larger the rewards they can claim.
Despite the discontinuation of the Carry Forward feature, players will still have the ability to transfer Double XP tokens from Black Ops 6 to Black Ops 7 when it launches later this year. Additionally, players will have a chance to earn numerous Double XP tokens through Call of Duty from now until October 1, allowing them to earn five 1-hour Double Player XP tokens, five 1-hour Double Weapon XP tokens, and five 1-hour Double Battle Pass XP tokens—all transferable to Black Ops 7 at its release.
