Six months later, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has settled into the ongoing rhythm of the live-service gaming world. While it has garnered some players and critics alike, it seems to have slipped from the forefront of gaming discussions.
Ubisoft, however, has a team actively working on updates and DLC. The first expansion, Claws of Awaji, is slated for release on September 16, complemented by a substantial 1.1.1 update being rolled out today.
This update introduces several enhancements including:
- A climbing level cap increased to 100.
- The ability to fast-forward time in-game with specific hideout upgrades.
- Improved scout abilities that allow detection of viewpoints and safehouses.
But the real excitement stems from the addition of a new weapon: a bo staff. Players can unlock this via a quest titled Go With The Bo.
Additionally, a cat dressed as Ezio can be obtained through the game’s cosmetic system, adding a charming touch to the character customizations.
It’s safe to say that this update should bring players back for a brief revisit to the game, especially with the introduction of a bo staff and the amusing addition of a feline companion.
