Leaked Gameplay of Battlefield 6 Unveils Weapon Feature for Enhanced Strategy

A recent gameplay leak reveals the presence of thermal scopes in Battlefield 6, offering players a tactical edge in long-range combat.

A leaked Battlefield 6 gameplay video indicates that players will utilize thermal scopes, which grant a major advantage for those who prefer long-range sniper tactics. Early testers have already had opportunities to experience Battlefield 6 gameplay ahead of its launch, but the introduction of thermal scopes could significantly change the dynamics of combat.

Earlier this fall, two public beta sessions recorded unprecedented player engagement, surpassing 500,000 players concurrently. The beta showcased almost half of the maps that will be available at the game’s release, and the developers still have more content planned.

Battlefield 6 Thermal Scopes Unveiled in Leaked Video

A video shared by the Battlefield 6 news account “BattlePulse” presents nearly a minute of in-game footage where a player engages enemies utilizing a thermal scope. The scope highlights opponents against the backdrop in bright white, particularly benefitting snipers who function best from a distance. Players are expected to attach scopes to various Battlefield 6 weapon types.

While thermal scopes have considerable applications for tracking foes, their primary function benefits snipers aiming from afar. The addition could assist players in outmaneuvering enemies, especially as Battlefield 6 has reduced the visibility of sniper scope reflections without eliminating them completely.

Although there has been no official confirmation about the availability of thermal scopes at launch, the leak seems credible. More details about Battlefield 6 will be available during its segment at the Tokyo Game Show on September 26, which will focus on campaign gameplay.
