Pokémon GO has announced the debut of Mega Camerupt during an event that will take place on September 28. This marks yet another Mega Evolution added to the game since its introduction in 2020, showcasing this notable form of the beloved Pokémon.

Camerupt is recognized as one of the Gen 3 Pokémon and evolves from Numel at level 33. The fiery creature is often compared to a Bactrian camel, featuring humps that resemble volcanoes filled with intensely hot lava.

On September 28, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, players can battle Mega Camerupt in raids, with an increased likelihood of encountering a shiny variant. During this event, players can also spin Photo Discs at Gyms and earn up to five additional Raid Passes.
