Team Jade is excited to announce the introduction of a new operator for Delta Force, named Raptor, which will be available in the upcoming season starting September 23. Despite facing some challenges regarding its single-player campaign, Black Hawk Down, which is set to premiere in early 2025, the free-to-play shooter has maintained a strong presence this year, with increasing popularity in its recent seasons.
Players of Delta Force can look forward to a fresh gameplay experience with Raptor and additional updates coming soon.
New Recon Operator, Raptor
In a recent announcement video released on September 7, fans were introduced to Raptor, classified under the Recon class. Raptor is set to feature a drone called Silver Wing, designed to mark enemies in sight and can function as a guided bomb. He also comes equipped with an EMP grenade to incapacitate nearby enemies’ electronics and two tracking abilities: Trace Tracker and Trace Detection. These traits allow players to detect footsteps left by enemies and provide alerts when adversaries are aiming at them.
Aside from Raptor, the sixth season of Delta Force will also launch with a new Warfare map, at least two additional weapons, and a new vehicle—the F-45A Fighter Jet. The season promises to add more content, building upon changes made in previous updates, as the player base continues to expand with the introduction of console gaming.
Enhancements and Community Impact
In addition to the new content, Team Jade has taken steps to enhance multiplayer functionality. A significant clean-up saw over 1,000 players banned for cheating, including long-term participants, as the developers strive to maintain a fair gaming environment and improve console player experiences through future updates.
