AMD Seeks Gamer Feedback on RDNA 4: Key Requests Center on Availability and Pricing

AMD is engaging with gamers to gather insights on features they desire for the upcoming RDNA 4 GPUs, emphasizing the need for better availability and reasonable pricing.

AMD has recently reached out to gamers asking for their input on the much-anticipated RDNA 4 GPUs. The overwhelming response highlights priority concerns around availability, pricing, and performance. The current state of the GPU market has led to a situation where new graphics cards are sold out almost instantly, leaving consumers frustrated. Many fans expressed that ensuring availability should be the foremost priority.

AMD’s representative, Frank Azor, asked the community on X (formerly Twitter), “What features are you most excited about in RDNA4?”

In addition to stock availability, pricing was another significant theme among the responses. Many users voiced their desire for GPUs that don’t exceed the total cost of their entire gaming rig from the previous year.

Upscaling technologies were also mentioned, particularly the need for FSR 4, which would allow AMD to compete with Nvidia’s advanced upscaling techniques. A preference for better value in terms of performance-to-price ratio emerged as a recurring request among gamers.

Interestingly, discussions around ray tracing did not dominate the conversation; instead, the primary focus remained on accessibility and performance. As the launch of the Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT approaches, it will be essential for AMD to consider these consumer insights to enhance market competitiveness.
