Silksong Introduces Multiplayer Mods Less Than a Week After Launch

Silksong has released two multiplayer mods almost immediately after its debut, allowing players to connect in unique ways.

You don’t have to run faster than Moorwing—you just need to outpace your friend.

Less than a week after its release, Silksong has already attracted two multiplayer mods: SilklessCoop by nek5 and Silksong Steam multiplayer mod by XvX. These mods allow players to buddy up while traversing Pharloom, echoing earlier Hollow Knight mods like HKMP.

However, excitement should be tempered as both mods currently offer merely visual companionship. Although the Silksong Steam multiplayer mod hints at potential basic PvP, this feature remains unverified.

Despite this limitation, the arrival of these mods just days after release highlights the rapid response of the community and the enthusiasm for Silksong, which recently saw significant traffic issues due to player demand on launch day.

Given the intricate setup required for these mods, including downloads and hosting instructions, many players may choose to observe from the sidelines or wait for updates that enhance functionality.
