Ready or Not Achieves Remarkable Player Milestone

The tactical shooter Ready or Not has surpassed three million players on consoles just months after its release.

VOID Interactive has announced that over three million console players have picked up and played Ready or Not since its launch on Xbox and PlayStation in July. After spending two years as an early access title on Steam, Ready or Not officially launched on PC at the end of 2023 before transitioning to consoles this summer.

Ready or Not Hits 3 Million Console Players

In less than two months since its console debut, VOID Interactive celebrates a significant milestone. The developer shared a graphic on Twitter confirming that Ready or Not has exceeded three million players on both Xbox and PlayStation, which is impressive for a paid FPS title priced at $50. The overall player count, combining console and PC, exceeds 13 million, indicating nearly ten million players are active on the PC version.

While Ready or Not is enjoying remarkable success, the competitive gaming landscape raises questions about its sustainability, especially with FPS heavyweights like Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on the horizon. Each has distinct gameplay elements that may offer Ready or Not some breathing space this fall.
