Cregger mentioned in an interview that he’s played countless hours of Resident Evil games during his lifetime and aims to adhere to the vibes of games 2, 3, and 4 when crafting the film’s narrative.

“I’ve never seen a Resident Evil movie… fans of the games are probably going to be stoked.”
