Tempest Rising Update Introduces 3v3 Multiplayer and Active Pause Feature

The upcoming update for Tempest Rising will enhance the gameplay experience with new multiplayer modes and a feature to adjust game speed in singleplayer.

Tempest Rising, the Command & Conquer successor, will receive a significant update on September 9. This update includes:

  • 3v3 Multiplayer Matches: Expanding beyond the current 1v1 and 2v2 formats.
  • Active Pause Feature: Allows players to stop the action and strategize during singleplayer campaigns.
  • Game Speed Adjustment Tool: Lets players modify the pace for a smoother experience.

The update also promises to add a new multiplayer map located in Kyoto and revamp two existing maps to suit 3v3 gameplay. Furthermore, players can expect enhancements such as a spectator mode and a balance pass for campaign missions, aimed at improving pacing.

This response to community feedback is anticipated as a way to elevate Tempest Rising from a quality successor to a classic in its own right.
