Square Enix has announced encouraging developments regarding Kingdom Hearts 4 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3. The next chapter in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, created through a partnership between Square Enix and Disney, is eagerly awaited.
Updates indicate that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy, which reimagines the classic 1997 title for contemporary gaming platforms, is making progress. The latest release of the trilogy, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, was introduced in 2024.

During a livestream marking the second anniversary of Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, Nomura emphasized that development is ‘going smoothly,’ and hinted at upcoming announcements from Square Enix.
As for Kingdom Hearts 4, Nomura expressed optimism as well, confirming that its development is on track. However, he did not disclose specific details regarding new updates.
