Acer has revealed the Swift 16 AI, the first laptop utilizing Intel’s Panther Lake CPU, showcasing what is claimed to be the world’s largest haptic touchpad. Although the product won’t be available until early next year, it was displayed at the IFA 2025 exhibition.
The Panther Lake CPU is pivotal for Intel, set to be branded as part of the Intel Core Ultra 300 Series. It’s designed with advanced AI capabilities and is expected to deliver significant graphics enhancements thanks to the new Xe3 technology, potentially containing up to 12 graphics cores.
Jim Johnson, Intel’s VP, stated: “The goal is to bring AI agents to your personal computer, allowing intelligence to function locally rather than relying on cloud access.”
This new hardware marks a potential leap in computing performance, promising to elevate both gaming and productivity experiences with its powerful specs.
