Arrowhead Game Studios has rolled out a significant update for Helldivers 2 named Into the Unjust, which introduces several new Hive Worlds and cave systems for players to explore. Excitingly for fans, the game is now available for Xbox users, and a collaboration with the Halo franchise has brought ODST-themed gear into the game.

The update, titled Into the Unjust, enhances gameplay with randomly generated cave systems filled with unique flora and fauna, as well as acid lakes. As part of the new content, players will encounter new units in the Terminid faction, including the Rupture Spewer, Rupture Warrior, and Rupture Charger, each with the ability to burrow underground and surprise players. Additionally, the Dragonroach, a large flying creature, can bombard players with acid from above.

Players will face fresh mission objectives in The Gloom, including destroying a Spore Lung and taking control of a mobile oil rig. A new tactical challenge arises as players must strategize their approach in dark caves, where access to essential stratagems may be limited.

This update is particularly significant as it marks the first PlayStation title to be released on Xbox, doubling the player base significantly.
