The latest batch of PlayStation Plus games for September 2025 are now available for download across the UK and Europe. A US release is expected shortly. Subscribers to PlayStation Plus Essential and above can enjoy three fantastic titles this month: Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley, and Viewfinder for both PS4 and PS5. All three games can be retained as long as the user maintains their subscription to any of PlayStation Plus’ tiers.
The new PS Plus Essential games became available around 10 AM BST in the UK and Europe with the US release expected between 10 AM and 12 PM EST.
With ongoing expansions from Xbox and PlayStation, subscribers find themselves with an abundance of benefits, particularly an ever-growing list of new titles each month. Subscribers receive three new games monthly, which remain theirs for as long as they stay subscribed. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium also offer an expansive catalog, but these games are rotated monthly, akin to Xbox Game Pass.
Sony recently confirmed the forthcoming lineup of PlayStation Plus games for September 2025. With the first Tuesday of the month now here, all PlayStation Plus subscribers can download Psychonauts 2 for PS4, Stardew Valley for PS4, and Viewfinder which is available for both PS4 and PS5. While the first two titles are playable on PS5 due to backward compatibility, Viewfinder also has a native version for the console.

For those who might have missed August 2025’s offerings, it is now too late to claim titles like Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero One’s Justice 2, which were available to all subscribers. Extra and Premium players will also miss out on Sword of the Sea and The Rogue Prince of Persia which are being removed from the catalog.
Unfortunately, several games are set to leave PS Plus in September. Extra and Premium subscribers should quickly check out Dragon’s Crown Pro, FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch, Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, Pistol Whip, Road 96, The Plucky Squire, and UFC 5 as these will be removed this month. Thankfully, PlayStation continuously adds new titles, so there’s likely more to come soon.
