AntGamer Set to Launch a 1,000 Hz Gaming Monitor with AMD

AntGamer is breaking new ground with a gaming monitor that boasts a remarkable 1,000 Hz refresh rate, set to release in 2026.

AntGamer is preparing to introduce the first 1,000 Hz gaming monitor in 2026. Designed for elite gamers, this monitor could greatly enhance gameplay in competitive settings, especially in titles like Counter-Strike 2 and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Reports from ITHome suggest that AntGamer has collaborated with AMD to determine the specifications required for optimal performance at such high refresh rates. However, it’s worth noting that most gamers might not discern a significant difference between this display and those with refresh rates below 200 Hz.

AntGamer has additionally released a white paper outlining the parameters necessary for 1,000 fps gaming, but the complete list of recommended games is still pending. This technology has previously existed in prototypes, yet the imminent release represents a confirmation of its viability in the consumer market.

The significant features include black frame insertion technology to minimize motion blur, although challenges like residual motion blur at extreme refresh rates still remain. Expert Morgan McGuire has indicated that while 240 Hz may suffice for most players, transcending to 1,000 Hz is a prospective goal.
