Rockstar Remains Silent on Grand Theft Auto 6 PC Release Date
Rockstar continues to delay announcing a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6, despite confirming its release on consoles.
Rockstar Games’ forthcoming title, Grand Theft Auto 6, remains scheduled for a console launch in fall 2025, but there’s still no word on a PC release.
Take-Two Interactive’s recent financial report confirmed that GT6 is on track for its expected fall 2025 launch, yet the absence of a PC announcement continues to frustrate fans. Since the game was formally introduced in December 2023, it has not been mentioned for PC, prompting speculation about a further delay.
The headline news of Take-Two’s financial results highlighted the ongoing popularity of Grand Theft Auto 5, which has achieved sales of over 210 million copies across three console generations. “If you give consumers what they want, they will show up for it,” declared Zelnick during a Q&A, reflecting on the series’ success.
While the anticipation for GT6 mounts, Take-Two’s overall release calendar appears stable. Mafia: The Old Country is also on track for a summer release, while Borderlands 4 is expected before year-end 2025.
Unfortunately for PC enthusiasts, this means the wait for GTA 6 on PC might extend into 2026 or later. Many in the community remain hopeful for updates in May, following Take-Two’s next quarter results.
