Due to a glitch following an EA App update, significant details regarding the next expansion pack for The Sims 4 have surfaced within the community. While the base games of The Sims series offer an abundance of content, expansions greatly enhance these experiences. With The Sims 4 now boasting 20 expansions, the new roadmap indicates continued growth.
EA Inadvertently Unveils New Expansion Pack
On August 28, post-update, it appears thatEA mistakenly aired plans related to upcoming expansion packs, kits, and events, alongside the roadmap showing what lies ahead for the latter part of the year. Fans managed to capture screenshots of this announcement, although the link redirected users to a dead page. A previously deactivated leaker, MedievalKiller12, had hinted at a Sims 4 roadmap earlier, likely the same content that was to be shown on the now-removed link. Players can now anticipate what the remainder of 2025 will entail for The Sims 4.
According to the leaked roadmap, the forthcoming expansion pack is set for reveal on September 4, followed by an event starting on September 23 similar to the recent Nature’s Calling event, leading to an expansion pack release on October 2. Additional free updates are also projected.
After the roadmap leak, a promotional image suggesting an expansion pack titled Adventure Awaits emerged. This pack could feature new gameplay mechanics like archery and the potential return of imaginary friends. Fans eagerly await further information from EA, particularly the reveal trailer expected soon after the pack’s announcement.
