New Insights on Battlefield 6's Largest Launch Map Revealed

A recent leak has unveiled gameplay details of what is set to be the largest map in Battlefield 6, providing enthusiasts with a closer look at the anticipated game.

A recent leak has provided gamers with a sneak peek at the largest map set to launch with Battlefield 6. Despite EA’s general transparency concerning the upcoming shooter, several details have managed to evade public knowledge until now. Soon after the end of the open beta for Battlefield 6, playtesters shared new insights.

The Battlefield franchise has just wrapped up an impressive open beta, yet some fortunate players are still engaged in playtesting. On August 29, EA reinstated Battlefield Labs to refine the game before its release on October 10. Following this, fresh game details quickly emerged.

Playtest Insights: Mirak Valley Map

Multiple leaked videos preserved by MP1st provide a first look at the Mirak Valley map from the latest Battlefield Labs build—this map was absent from the open beta but will be a significant part of the game’s final version. Confirmation has already surfaced that Mirak Valley will be the largest map available at launch.

Players have reported experiencing a mix of buildings, open areas, and varied vehicles, indicating a broader gameplay spectrum compared to the contents revealed during the beta.

Mirak Valley Map

The size and scale of Mirak Valley may address complaints from some beta participants who felt the maps were constricted for the 64-player format. While this installment is scaling down from 2042’s 128-player lobbies, initial maps sometimes felt cramped. However, the leaks suggest a healthy variety, indicating that EA plans to provide diverse experiences in the complete game, contrary to the limited scope players encountered in the open beta.

Gameplay Footage

Earlier leaks highlighted Mirak Valley as being seven times larger than the Siege of Cairo map featured in the beta. The scale is evident in the recent footage, but as always, changes are likely as development continues. There remain questions about additional features like advanced weather effects which players have requested, with clarity anticipated shortly before the release of Battlefield 6.
