Sean Murray Announces Real Oceans for Players in Light No Fire

Hello Games reveals new features for upcoming game, Light No Fire, including vast oceans requiring large boats.

Every few months, the No Man’s Sky community gets an exciting update, and just recently, Sean Murray treated eagerly waiting fans with news about the upcoming game, Light No Fire. This latest update, named Voyagers, allows players to craft custom starships for exploration, introducing enormous ships accommodating several players with the ability to walk around inside.

“The technical challenges they have had to overcome to make any of this possible have been immense.”

Murray elaborated that much of the new technology would carry over to Light No Fire, a shared Earth-sized experience featuring real oceans demanding large crews and boats to navigate.

“We love that we get to share this technology with players early,” Murray added, noting that significant parts of the game’s infrastructure have had to be reworked to create these vast, immersive realms.

Fans are now filled with anticipation for what appears to be an exciting blend of familiar No Man’s Sky mechanics, now fused with unprecedented oceanic adventures in Light No Fire.
