A Hilarious Mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 Turns Jack Marston Into a Throwable Projectile

A new mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 cleverly transforms Jack Marston into a throwable weapon, adding comedic flair to the gaming experience.

A Red Dead Redemption 2 player has humorously created a mod that allows players to use young Jack Marston as a throwable weapon, introducing ragdoll mechanics to the game. This new weapon type surprisingly changes the atmosphere in the often serious world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

While RDR2 may not match the extensive modding scene of games like Skyrim, it boasts an active community determined to keep the game interesting. Mods in Red Dead Redemption 2 vary from minor visual adjustments to comprehensive gameplay alterations, with some modders opting for a lighter touch by introducing funny mods like this one.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Tomahawk Jack Mod

In a recent Reddit post, YouTuber Blurbs demonstrated a comedic clip where Arthur Morgan wields young Jack Marston to dispatch everything from criminal bands to massive bears in RDR2. By substituting Jack for the Tomahawk model, Arthur can now ’equip’ him and throw him at enemies, further enhanced by ragdoll mechanics. This results in Jack realistically falling rather than sticking like a traditional weapon.

Blurbs has a reputation for game modding, creating content revolved around unique mod suggestions from viewers on his Twitch and YouTube channels. Some of his notable creations include a mod allowing Twitch chat to voice NPCs in Skyrim using Text-To-Speech (TTS). He’s also known for a mod that made every NPC in Red Dead Redemption 2 comically inebriated, transforming serious cutscenes into laugh-worthy moments.

The Reddit video is part of a compilation from Blurbs’ Twitch stream where he brings to life mod ideas from his audience. Besides the throwable Jack mod, viewers could also witness absurd features like horses performing tricks, bodies exploding upon impact, NPCs kidnapping Arthur, and more. Blurbs completed a full playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 with these wacky mods activated simultaneously.

As Rockstar prioritizes the development of Grand Theft Auto VI, with Red Dead Redemption 3 still a distant prospect, it’s refreshing to see RDR2 continue to flourish due to dedicated modders who maintain a lively interest in the game. Whether through immersive modifications or playful antics like throwing ‘Tomahawks’ made of Jack, the community ensures that the game will remain vibrant.
