High on Life 2 Announced with Playable Classics
The sequel to Squanch Games' popular title will introduce multiple playable retro games within its universe.
Upcoming sequel High on Life 2 will allow players to discover in-game titles, including the notorious Bible Adventures. The game will feature playable retro classics, as confirmed by Mikey Spano, the Chief Creative Officer and Art Director of Squanch Games, during an interview at Gamescom 2025.
Mikey stated, “Yes, you can play the whole thing, and it’s not the only emulated game in there.” This innovative approach to game design aims to integrate nostalgic experiences within the new universe, paralleling the original game’s unique offerings like watching movies.
High on Life 2 is set for release on February 13, 2026, across platforms such as PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. While the original game was a hit on Xbox Game Pass, fans are eager to see if the sequel can improve on its predecessor’s reception.
