Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released on September 4, concluding a lengthy seven-year development period. Initially announced in 2019, the game generated significant excitement within the community as fans awaited its release.
With the approaching release of Silksong, both returning fans and newcomers have boosted the player count on Steam, which now sits at over 23,000 concurrent players—an impressive 150% increase. Hollow Knight, launched in 2017, has transformed from a modest indie title into one of the best-rated Metroidvania games, exceeding sales of 15 million units.
