New Features Unveiled for Lost Soul Aside on PC and PS5 Pro

Latest details about the additional features of Lost Soul Aside for PC and PlayStation 5 Pro have been revealed.

Publisher Sony and developer Ultizero Games have recently unveiled information regarding the many features Lost Soul Aside will include on PC and PlayStation 5 Pro. As far as consoles go, Lost Soul Aside will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, and gamers who own a PS5 Pro or a high-end PC will gain access to a much-improved version of the upcoming RPG.

Work on Lost Soul Aside started back in 2014, with the game appearing publicly for the first time in 2016. Last year, the title reemerged, showing action-packed gameplay and gorgeous graphics. Initially set to be released on May 30, 2025, Lost Soul Aside was delayed to August 29, and Sony is ramping up its marketing as it gets ready for the launch.

Lost Soul Aside Will Take Full Advantage of PC and PS5 Pro Power

Now, Sony has revealed the exclusive features that Lost Soul Aside will have on the PS5 Pro and PC on the PlayStation Blog. Gamers who own a PS5 Pro will be able to play Lost Soul Aside in dynamic 4K with enhanced ray-traced reflections and shadow effects. Also, they will get access to higher-quality textures, more detailed particle effects, more stable frame rates, and quicker loading times, ensuring more responsive gameplay. The PC version of Lost Soul Aside will feature full DualSense controller support, 4K + HDR visuals, ray-tracing, and cross-platform Trophy synchronization with PlayStation 5.

The publisher also reiterated the PC specs for Lost Soul Aside, indicating that gamers will need at least 16 GB of RAM, 80 GB of SSD storage, and hefty CPUs and GPUs if they’re interested in the action RPG. To run the game at the “Minimum” specs, gamers will need an NVIDIA GTX 1060 and an Intel i5-10400, while the “Recommended” settings include an NVIDIA RTX 2060 and an Intel i5-10400. Even higher specs were also unveiled, with an NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti and an Intel i7-13700K required to play on “Ultra.”

Some gamers have favorably compared Lost Soul Aside to Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry due to its aesthetic and fast-paced gameplay, and it remains to be seen how the title will be received. In Lost Soul Aside, gamers will have access to multiple weapon types, such as a Sword, Greatsword, Poleblade, or Scythe, enabling them to switch during battle to perform increasingly deadly combos.

Lost Soul Aside recently went gold, and the team is currently working on final optimizations for its launch. Hopefully, the last delay was enough to give more polish to the experience and make it shine, particularly on high-end PCs and the PS5 Pro.
