Seven years after IllFonic and Gun Media parted ways with their successful multiplayer horror game, Friday the 13th, they’re making a comeback—to introduce Halloween. Announced at the Future Game Show, this new title is described as a “one-versus-many stealth horror experience,” allowing players to either take on the role of the notorious Michael Myers or his would-be victims trying to survive in Haddonfield.
In the game, players, while acting as civilians, must hide in the shadows and alert locals about Myers’ presence, while the killer aims to prevent them from contacting authorities. The gameplay emphasizes stealth, strategy, and effective planning, with multiple modes to enjoy.
“Staying true to the original film, IllFonic crafts the eerie vibe of Haddonfield across various maps and authentic settings, featuring an ambiance and soundtrack inspired by the iconic movie. Halloween promises to be a thrilling experience for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.”
