Asus Declares ROG Xbox Ally 2 as a True Successor, Maintaining Support for Previous Models

Asus has confirmed that the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally is the genuine successor to the Ally and Ally X models, but users of the original devices will still benefit from new features.

Asus has announced that the ROG Xbox Ally is not just a new product but is the official successor to the previous models, specifically the ROG Ally and Ally X. In an interview, Whitson Gordon, Senior Manager of Content Marketing at Asus, emphasized, “This is the Ally 2. 100%. That I can say with absolute certainty: This is the successor to the Ally and Ally X.”

Furthermore, Gordon assured existing users of the Ally and Ally X devices that they will continue to receive updates and some new features, asserting that the company is committed to not leaving them behind.

The new handheld gaming PC is expected to offer enhanced performance and features, blending the best of the original models while also introducing compatibility with the new Xbox experiences.

Users have expressed anticipation for the upcoming device, but specifics regarding pricing are still under wraps, prompting some uncertainty among potential buyers.
