The Third Edict update for Path of Exile 2 is set to launch on August 29. This update brings numerous features, including a new campaign act situated across a selection of islands where players will hunt for ancient weapon pieces. The design allows for non-linear gameplay, letting players select any of the eight islands available. Additionally, players will encounter over 100 new monster types and 12 bosses throughout this journey.
The update also addresses balance, introducing buffs to every class, thus enhancing gameplay experiences.
The introduction of asynchronous trading allows players to set prices for items on a new merchant NPC, enabling transactions even when they are offline. This shift is expected to dramatically improve the trading experience, moving away from the outdated direct trade methods.
Moreover, The Third Edict will release PoE2’s first official league called The Rise of the Abyssal, where players will engage in new mechanics, including sealing fissures and combating emerging bosses. This comprehensive update aims to rejuvenate the Path of Exile 2 gaming experience.
