Take-Two Lawyers Crack Down on Mafia Nude Mods with a DMCA Request

Legal actions have been taken against unauthorized nude mods for Mafia: The Old Country, sparking controversy in the modding community.

When you step on the toes of the Don’s daughter, consequences inevitably arise. The Don’s retribution comes in the form of a DMCA request from Take-Two, targeting certain NSFW mods for Mafia: The Old Country, which featured Isabella Torrisi in less than modest attire. This action effectively removed the mods from the public realm, citing copyright infringement.

Nexus Mods shared the details in a recent forum post:

A takedown/DMCA request was issued by Lisa Deere [on behalf of Take Two Interactive Software, Inc] on 12/08/2025.

They have validated the request and confirmed its legitimacy.

The mods in question, Nude Isabella mod and its Extended Textures for Nude Isabella mod, created by the user ’norskpl’, have been removed as a result. Interestingly, mods that feature models from other games in the Mafia series remain available, leading to speculation about why only the more risqué content has drawn ire from Take-Two.

Take-Two’s proactive legal stance appears to attract more attention to these mods than it suppresses, a move that raises questions about fair use and the viability of modding communities.

“We were able to internally verify the legitimacy of this claim through the requesting of additional evidence to prove the identity of the claimant and the rights they hold over the content in question.”
