Nintendo Collaborates with Universal to Offer Alarmo Clocks to Hotel Guests

Nintendo has teamed up with Universal Studios to provide rental Alarmo clocks for guests at their hotels in Japan, enhancing the park experience.

Nintendo has partnered with Universal Studios to rent Alarmo clocks to hotel guests at Universal Studios Japan hotels. This partnership offers Nintendo fans a chance to use the Alarmo clock without having to purchase it.

Details:

  • The Alarmo clock has been in high demand and will be available in select retail stores starting in March 2025.
  • This collaboration enhances the experience for guests visiting the Super Nintendo World park.

Starting February 3, guests at seven participating Universal Studios Japan hotels can rent Alarmo clocks along with an AC adapter at check-in. After receiving the alarm clock, guests will need to set it up in their rooms themselves. Nintendo has not indicated if there are any additional fees for renting the Alarmo clock.

Guests can rent Alarmo clocks at:

  • Oriental Hotel Universal City
  • The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan
  • The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan Hotel
  • Kintetsu Universal City Hotel
  • Keihan Universal Tower Hotel
  • Universal Port Hotel
  • Universal Port Vita

The Alarmo, noted for being a unique addition to Nintendo’s range of products, is expected to create a memorable start to the day for guests visiting the park. There’s no current plan to introduce the Alarmo rental service at Universal Studios parks outside Japan, but potential future offerings have not been ruled out.
