Beyerdynamic has recently announced two new wireless gaming headsets designed specifically for the Canadian and EU markets. These models feature improved specifications and detachable microphones, addressing some of the concerns with previous models.
The MMX 150 is the more affordable option, priced at $250 CAD/€179, sporting 40 mm dynamic drivers and a remarkable 50-hour battery life. In contrast, the premium option, MMX 230, retails at $350 CAD/€249 and includes advanced Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity with an active noise-cancelling mic to enhance gameplay immersion.
One of the standout features is the removable battery, allowing users to swap out batteries on the fly, which ensures longer usage sessions without interruption. Both models will come with a USB Type-C low-latency dongle for seamless 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity.
While currently only available in Canada and Europe, there are hopes that these innovations will reach other markets in the future. Beyerdynamic continues to be a frontrunner in delivering quality audio gear tailored for gamers.
